Who We Are
Climate Water Nexus Solutions, or CWN Solutions for short, is a team of sustainability consultants providing support to businesses seeking to obtain sustainability and environmental certifications, and provide auditing services against sustainability standards such as the SCS Water Stewardship and Resilience Standard, AWS Water Stewardship 2.0 Standard, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, B Corp Certification, and others.
What We Do
We offer a range of services, including audits of your company's performance against climate and water standards, climate transition plan development (i.e., your decarbonization strategy), craft your water stewardship and sustainability strategy, assist with stakeholder engagement initiatives, and assist in sustainability reporting according to international frameworks. Our goal is to help businesses thrive by turning climate and water challenges into opportunities to increase your company's competitive advantage and overall sustainability performance.
Our Experience
Our team has over 20 years of experience working on climate, water, and sustainability problems. We have worked with businesses and trained business leaders across various industries including tourism and hospitality, wellness, food and beverage, and industrial sectors. We have a deep understanding of the climate and water security challenges facing different industries and how to address them.

Water Stewardship and Strategy
We are most passionate at CWN Solutions about delivering water sustainability and stewardship solutions to our clients and the communities they serve. Our team includes Alliance for Water Stewardship Credentialed Specialists who have earned the highest level of certification against the business water stewardship standards. We are ready to help your business measure your baseline performance against the AWS Standards, identify solutions and best practices for water stewardship for your particular business and industry, and guide you through the AWS Certification process.

We also perform water stewardship audits. Our team has provided technical input toward the development of SCS Global Environmental Services' Water Stewardship and Resiliency Standard and is now contracted by SCS Global Services to audit aspiring corporate leaders against this standard.

Dr. Robert Hobbins is the Founder and Director of CWN Solutions. He earned his PhD in Sustainability from Arizona State University in 2020 and serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Sustainability and Management at the University of Colorado Denver Business School where he trains MBA and MS Sustainable Busines

He has over 20 years experience working at the intersection of climate, water, and sustainability issues.
